Burrows’ facilities have control procedures in place to track customer-initiated changes. In-line controls allow us to monitor and measure product consistency and quality against customer specifications. Product recall procedures are in place and tested regularly.
All of Burrows’ packaging facilities are HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) certified and audited yearly to AIB (American Institute of Baking) standards.
In Europe, the Kerkrade packaging facility was the first plant on the continent to qualify for British Retail Consortium (BRC) packaging certification and has maintained that certification since 2005. BRC certification is recognized as the gold standard in Europe for food packaging quality.
